Our product range consists of the following :-
- Marine Magnetometers
-
- The MX500 Digital magnetometer is a low cost marine proton
magnetometer designed specifically for locating small ferrous targets in
water up to 70 meters deep. It is ideal for locating anchors,
pipelines, mooring chain, cannon etc. Larger objects like steel
shipwrecks can also be detected but at a much greater range. A
completely new design, the MX500 Digital magnetometer was extensively
sea trialed for 12 months before product release. The new design uses
the latest ultra low power microprocessor to create an active tow-fish
with all the magnetometer electronics built into the fish. A depth
sensor is fitted as standard so the depth of the tow-fish can be
transmitted along with each magnetic field measurement. The complete magnetometer consists of a tow-fish,
which can
be supplied with various lengths of cable, a control unit
to interface the tow-fish to a PC and a software application called MXSurvey II
to display the data. The software application MXSurvey II is in fact a
complete survey package which displays graphically the boat's position, tow-fish depth,
seabed depth, and magnetic deviation all on one screen. All data is
logged to memory and can be viewed later for analysis.
-
- There is now a dual tow-fish version of the MX500 Digital
magnetometer which runs two tow-fish simultaneously. When towed on
booms out of the side of the boat, the
detection swathe is greatly increased thereby reducing survey time. The output from each tow-fish
can be displayed separately, or the two tow-fish can be configured as
a gradiometer.
Introduced in 2012 is a professional version of the MX500 Digital
magnetometer which outputs data in a format compatible with industry standard third
party survey software.

- Diver's Underwater Metal Detector
-
-
To complement our magnetometer range we have developed a
handheld diver's metal detector, called the Micro-Pulse. This compact
detector with its folding head is easily carried on every dive and is
small enough to allow it to be stowed away when the diver
needs both hands free. Pulse Induction technology is at the heart
of the Micro-Pulse and this makes it very sensitive for locating both
ferrous and non ferrous objects.
-
The Micro-Pulse uses the same ultra
low power microprocessor that is used in our MX500 Digital
magnetometer and this has enabled us to pack all the electronics
and rechargeable batteries into the handle of the detector. Precision
engineered from aluminium with O-ring seals, the handle of the
Micro-Pulse is anodized for
maximum corrosion resistance. There are
two versions of the Micro-Pulse, the first uses our unique vibrating handle to indicate the presence of metal directly below the search head,
while the second uses the more traditional audio signal through an earpiece. Ideal for commercial
divers operating in low visibility, the Micro-Pulse is a very practical solution for a
handheld underwater metal detector.

- Accessories
-
-
We offer a range of accessories designed by us to solve common
problems encountered when conducting a magnetic survey. Our
unique design of cable drum is ideal for handling the longer tow-fish
cable lengths up to 150 metres. This low cost drum allows just the
right amount of cable to be paid out for a survey while the rest
remains on the drum.
We offer a robust travel case (Pelican) that provides a protective
packaging for the magnetometer during transportation. -
