Information Window

The information window displays information regarding the current boat position, course, speed, bearing and distance to the reference point.  The user enters the amount of cable paid out behind the boat, this is known as the lay back so that the tow-fish position can be calculated. When a survey grid is used the software keeps track of the boat's position within the grid.
